Ruth Lohmer, City Planner - Long Range for the City, said that before her internship, she knew she was interested in government work but wasn’t sure what she wanted to do exactly.
"It was my internship with the Community Development Department that exposed me to city planning as a profession," Lohmer said. "After that, I knew I wanted to be a city planner, and my dream was to do it for Sugar Land."
