The power of public art enhances our experience and our quality of life. The City of Sugar Land has a rich history of creating community and engaging civic dialogue. The Public Art Program, through the concept of place, aims to beautify our city and draw residents and visitors to enjoy Sugar Land and the beauty of everyday life.
This project will solicit artists to design artwork to “wrap” around eleven traffic boxes along HW90 between Interstate HW 59 and HW6. Artists will submit a design based on the specifications outlined in the open call Traffic Box Wrap RFP.
